01Research usage
Retatrutide is a multi-receptor peptide agonist targeting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. This high-strength 20 mg vial supports extended research into energy expenditure, glucose control, and body-weight regulation, providing greater cumulative material for long-duration protocols.
02Research results
Across Phase 2 research, retatrutide produced the largest dose-dependent body-weight reductions reported for an incretin-based agent — approaching 24% at top doses over 48 weeks — alongside favorable glycemic and hepatic outcomes. Higher cumulative exposure is associated with stronger observed metabolic effects.
03Safety summary
Adverse events remain predominantly gastrointestinal and dose-dependent. Gradual titration is typically used in research to manage tolerability, and glucagon-receptor activity makes cardiometabolic monitoring relevant. Most reported events are mild to moderate.
04Reconstitution guide
Recommended ratio
- 2 mL of bacteriostatic water per 20 mg vial
- Equivalent to 10 mg/mL (i.e. 1 mg per 10 units on a 100 U insulin syringe)
- Disinfect the rubber stoppers with alcohol wipes.
- Inject the diluent slowly down the inner wall of the vial to avoid foaming.
- Gently swirl the vial (never shake). Let it dissolve for about 10 minutes.
05Storage instructions
Unopened / before reconstitution
- Store refrigerated (2 °C – 8 °C).
- Stable for 24 months.
- For long-term storage (2+ years), store at -20 °C.
Reconstituted solution
- Must be kept refrigerated.
- Avoid exposure to light and excessive heat.
