01Research usage
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. Animal research indicates it can improve wound healing, immune function, and skin health by stimulating collagen and fibroblasts and promoting blood-vessel growth. It is thought to act as a feedback signal generated after tissue injury and also functions as a potent antioxidant.
02Research results
Research reports that GHK-Cu stimulates collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, supports angiogenesis, and suppresses free-radical damage. These properties have positioned it as a subject of interest in skin-regeneration, wound-healing, and anti-aging research models.
03Safety summary
GHK-Cu is generally regarded as well tolerated in topical and research contexts, with localized reactions among the more commonly reported observations. As with all research compounds, its profile in injectable research models is not fully characterized.
04Reconstitution guide
Recommended ratio
- 2 mL of bacteriostatic water per 50 mg vial
- Equivalent to 25 mg/mL (i.e. 2.5 mg per 10 units on a 100 U insulin syringe)
- Disinfect the rubber stoppers with alcohol wipes.
- Inject the diluent slowly down the inner wall of the vial to avoid foaming.
- Gently swirl the vial (never shake). Let it dissolve for about 10 minutes.
05Storage instructions
Unopened / before reconstitution
- Store refrigerated (2 °C – 8 °C).
- Stable for 24 months.
- For long-term storage (2+ years), store at -20 °C.
Reconstituted solution
- Must be kept refrigerated.
- Avoid exposure to light and excessive heat.
